Vadstena is an attractive municipality located on the beautiful Östgötaslätten, overlooking Lake Vättern. It has a unique historical environment with roots dating back to the Middle Ages. The municipality has approximately 7,500 inhabitants and offers high-quality municipal services, good housing, and fantastic cultural and natural experiences. Simply put, it is a place to long for. Vadstena Municipality is one of the largest employers in the area with 600 employees across a hundred professions.

Vätterngården's care and nursing home consists of 54 apartments distributed across five departments, two of which focus on dementia care. Vätterngården has about 60 permanent employees. In the office, there is a coordinator and two unit managers who work closely together.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our coordinator is leaving us to pursue other challenges, and during the recruitment of a new coordinator, Vätterngården needs a temporary coordinator. As a coordinator, you are an important support function for the unit manager and the employees. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the unit managers, but you are expected to work independently to prioritize and follow up on your own tasks.

You will support the managers in leading employees both individually and in groups, which requires a high degree of personal maturity. You will have overall coordination responsibility for the unit's staff. This responsibility includes administrative tasks such as staffing, scheduling, managing sick leave and vacation, students, invoice handling, ordering consumables, and planning joint activities. You will also be involved in the recruitment of temporary staff and responsible for planning introductions. Additionally, you will contribute to the ongoing improvement of work methods and routines.

As a coordinator, you will assist with the moving in and out of residents, and therefore you will have continuous contact with case managers and relatives.

In this role, you must be able to collaborate with employees as well as external contacts such as staffing planners, case managers, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and relatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education in care and nursing. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to communicate well in both speech and writing.

To succeed in this role, you need previous experience in staffing planning and other administrative tasks. You should have good computer skills and experience with scheduling in TimeCare and Personec P. You should also have excellent knowledge of and previous experience with the operational system VIVA.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the role.
