Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centers, Health Center Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evening and weekend, and the General Medicine Training Center. • 550 listed inhabitants as a full-time ST physician when you are in the middle of your ST, and as a newly qualified specialist physician 1100 listed inhabitants.

Region Östergötland's ST training in general medicine is organized by the General Medicine Training Center (AMC), where study directors and education secretaries coordinate side training, arrange courses and training, and participate in the formulation of the ST physician's training plan. Job Description

We offer you as an ST physician with us a challenging and varied job. We expect you to seek primary care because you are interested in the breadth of the specialty field of general medicine and can envision a future in primary care.

As an ST physician with us, you will receive weekly scheduled supervision. Theoretical training is included in the form of ST meetings one day per month, a larger number of courses, and internal continuing education at the health center together with the physician group. There will also be opportunities to participate in larger national conferences.

The Linghem Health Center is located in the community of Linghem, close to both Linköping city and Norrköping city. With commuter traffic, you can reach Linköping in 7 minutes and Norrköping in 20 minutes. The health center has about 6,700 listed individuals, coming from both urban and rural areas. The operation includes everything from child, acute, to elderly care. We are responsible for a nursing home and home care. The Linghem Health Center is the small health center with big opportunities. We actively work with quality and change work.

The health center is staffed with specialists in general medicine, physicians in training, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical administrators, social workers, and rehabilitation coordinators, and has access to a well-equipped laboratory. Our goal is for the health center to be an attractive workplace by promoting a work environment that provides a balance between work and private life. The health center is fully engaged in various improvement efforts that promote patient satisfaction and a good working environment.

Work Group

We are about 28 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open work climate. The medical clinic consists of 5 specialist physicians and 2 ST physicians. Two physicians are double specialists.

About You

You are a licensed physician and hold a medical license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to documented level C1, as you should be able to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues fluently. If you have not completed your AT or have an approved Basic Competence according to BT, there is the opportunity to do BT during the first year of employment. Experience of working in primary care is an advantage.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. We want you to be unpretentious and enjoy working in a team. We place great importance on personal qualities. Perhaps you are already an ST physician and have gained some experience.
