Our Offer

The Physiological Clinic is part of the Heart Center at Linköping University Hospital and conducts advanced physiological diagnostics including ultrasound examinations of the heart and vessels, exercise and lung physiology examinations, nuclear medicine, and cardiac MRI. The clinic collaborates with cardiology and thoracic vascular surgery clinics in invasive cardiac diagnostics and valve interventions.

The clinic is a central part of pre-, peri-, and postoperative diagnostics in cardiac and vascular surgery. The operation is highly research-active, and several of the doctors and some biomedical analysts are PhDs or associate professors. The clinic also actively participates in the education of, among others, doctors, BMA, and physiotherapists.

Job Description

As a specialist physician with us, you can work with:

• Functional diagnostics in cardiac, vascular, and lung physiology.
• Diagnostic participation in the intervention unit with specialized procedures for valve diseases.
• Supervision of younger colleagues at the clinic and ST doctors from other clinics.
• Participation in quality, development, and improvement work.
• Opportunity for interpretation and assessment of cardiac MRI, PET/CT, and SPECT/CT imaging diagnostics depending on interest and competence.
• Opportunities for research and teaching.

About You

Licensed physician with a specialist certificate in clinical physiology, or a specialist in a related specialty with relevant experience.

Experience in advanced diagnostics and interest in multidisciplinary work.

Interest in or ongoing activity in research and teaching is meritorious.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good collaboration skills.
• Is engaged in business development.
• Works independently and takes responsibility for your assignment.
