About the position

In Home Healthcare, you will have an independent role where you can help develop the service. The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with other nurses, rehabilitation staff, and care personnel to meet the patients' care needs. You will supervise the nursing staff, and the work is done in teams together with home care personnel. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday, with some weekend duties every eighth week. The position is based in Norrtälje.

Your responsibilities include:

• Basic home healthcare such as wound dressings, catheter care, and medication management
• Creating care plans
• Assessing patients' needs and follow-ups
• Quality registers
• Delegations
• Collaboration with colleagues in customer choice and other care institutions
• Supervising nursing staff
• Responsible for quality registers, delegations, and care for approximately 30 patients

About you

For this position, you need to:

• Be a licensed nurse, district nurse, or nurse with further education in elderly care
• Hold a B driver's license and have driving experience
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Desirable qualifications for the position

• Prescription rights and experience in the profession
• Further education as a District Nurse or in Elderly Care

As a person, you are driven by your medical knowledge while your empathetic ability helps you meet patients and colleagues in a good way. You are self-sufficient and can plan your time according to patients' needs. The role includes the ability to reprioritize when necessary, which is why it is important that you are confident in making quick decisions. Collaboration skills are also key, as you will work closely with many different professional groups.

Basic home healthcare is part of the customer choice Tiohundra, together with home rehabilitation and home care in Norrtälje. We have a close collaboration with the healthcare centers where our patients are registered, and we are also responsible for accommodations within LSS and social psychiatry. Together with the care staff in home care, we have regular joint breakfasts and a close collaboration.
