Now you have the chance to become our next colleague! We currently have five specialists in general medicine and are looking for a temporary replacement for one of our specialists who will go on parental leave.
Our wonderful and family-oriented healthcare center is located in northern Sollentuna, right next to Norrviken train station and a lovely residential area.
At the healthcare center, we are a team of about 22 employees, with solid knowledge and many with long experience in primary care. Our workgroup consists of a mix of different professions: doctors, district nurses, reception nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, and medical secretaries who all complement our fantastic team! We are a close-knit team with low staff turnover and an open atmosphere! Here, seriousness is mixed with light-heartedness.
We know our patients well, and there is a very cozy and familial atmosphere with us, and we are looking for one more family member!
We provide residents and our patients with good care at a high medical level with a focus on patient safety and quality. We are responsible for about 8000 listed patients. We conduct doctor consultations, nurse/district nurse consultations, home healthcare, asthma/COPD consultations, diabetes nursing, and medical foot care. Job Description:
As a general specialist, you will meet patients of all ages in both acute and planned consultations, both digitally and physically. You will mentor AT & ST colleagues and support other professional categories in medical assessments. You are driven by quality in your work and are a good partner among colleagues. Qualifications:
Specialist in general medicine with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.
Employment Type:
Temporary position, 12-16 months. Employment rate according to agreement. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date April-June 2026. Possible opportunity for permanent employment after the temporary position.
Personal Characteristics:

Planning and coordination are familiar concepts for you, you are comfortable working independently and making your own decisions. Qualities that are good to have in this position are responsiveness, flexibility, and innovative thinking.

In patient-related work within Stockholm County's healthcare area:
- background checks will be applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health care before employment.
- good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional authorization. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
