X-ray Nurse at Karolinska University Hospital

About the position

As an X-ray nurse with us, you will work with varied and developing tasks, such as standard emergency imaging and conventional examinations. You will also have the opportunity to work with other advanced examinations, such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, and angiography.

In our operations, we meet patients from both elective flows, the emergency department, and inpatient care, which means that no work shift is like the other. You will work in interdisciplinary teams together with X-ray nurses, radiologists, and nursing assistants. The operation has a unit manager and development nurses linked to the various modalities, who actively contribute to the development and quality assurance of work methods and tasks.

Day, evening, and weekend shifts are included, with placement in Huddinge.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed X-ray nurse
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

  • Experience in Conventional X-ray and/or Computed Tomography
  • Experience from emergency services.
