We are looking for an occupational therapist in primary care with a shared assignment between home rehabilitation and outpatient clinic.

Rehab City is a results unit within SLSO, the Stockholm County Healthcare Region. We consist of about 85 employees across three different clinics and provide primary care rehabilitation. Rehab City Norrmalm is centrally located in Stockholm, just a short walk from both Central Station and Odenplan. Right in the city but still close to beautiful parks and water. A total of 35 people work at the unit.

Job Responsibilities:

As an occupational therapist in primary care, you will meet patients of various ages with different diagnoses and disabilities. The position is divided between home rehabilitation and outpatient clinic, which creates opportunities for great variety in the work.

Our catchment area for home visits is in the districts of Norrmalm and Kungsholmen, which we primarily reach by bicycle. A driver's license is therefore not a requirement. You will conduct both team visits and individual home visits. Job responsibilities include activity assessments, assistive device prescriptions, and training in patients' homes and local environments. Supervision of students is included.

The outpatient work is aimed at patients in need of activity balance and structure and includes mapping and assistive device prescriptions. The outpatient work also includes functional and activity assessments (formerly work ability assessments) which are performed in collaboration with physiotherapists.

Employment Type:

Permanent employment. Full-time 100%. A probationary period may apply. Working hours Monday to Friday. Start date by agreement.

Qualifications:

• Licensed occupational therapist with a bachelor's degree of 180 credits
• Master's degree is an advantage
• Experience in primary care and geriatrics is an advantage

Additional Information:

As you will be working in patients' homes, you cannot be sensitive to pets, smoking, strong odors, and other allergens that may be present.
