About Us

We provide advanced medical care at home that is otherwise given in inpatient care. Our goal is to create conditions for the best possible quality of life for our patients, where we take great consideration of the patient's own wishes and are available around the clock for the best possible symptom control and relief. This can involve shorter assignments, for a few days, but also longer assignments and care at the end of life.

Through our interprofessional team, we aim to create the best possible conditions for safe, secure, and good home care. We strive for high continuity and everyone in the team works closely together to meet the patients' needs in the best possible way.

The Role

As a nursing assistant within ASIH, you will have the opportunity to provide personal and qualitative care to patients in their homes. For us, support for relatives is also important. Variation in work and meeting different people is very rewarding, and you will work in an organization where care, safety, and continuity are the focus.

As a nursing assistant, you are an important part of the team and work closely with nurses and other professionals. You contribute to safe and secure care by performing nursing interventions and noticing changes in the patient's condition.

Job duties may include:

  • Observations and reporting of the patient's well-being (within the nursing assistant's competence)

  • Sampling, dressings

  • Nutrition, tube feeding

  • Home dialysis

  • Support for patients and relatives in everyday life

  • Participation in end-of-life care

  • Documentation according to applicable routines

  • Collaboration and communication with the team to ensure good continuity

The work involves independent visits but always with the team close by and with good opportunities for support and dialogue during the work shift.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title

  • has experience from, for example, ASIH, home care, hospital care, palliative care, or elderly care

  • is confident in your role, works professionally, and has a good demeanor

  • works evidence-based and prioritizes putting the patient first

  • is flexible and enjoys variation in work

  • has good collaboration skills and enjoys teamwork

  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

  • has knowledge of Take Care

  • A driver's license (B) is required
