Seasonal Custodian for Tierp Parish

For the 2026 season, we are looking for two employees – one for Hållnäs and one for Österlövsta.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include work within cemetery maintenance such as planting flowers, weeding, hedge trimming, and lawn mowing. Additional tasks include preparing the church for events such as funerals and assisting during services. Some property maintenance is also included.

The work is carried out both independently and together with your new colleagues.

The cemetery is a place where you meet many people who visit us for various reasons. Therefore, we place great importance on you being:

A B driver's license (manual) is a requirement for the position.

Desirable Qualifications

We would prefer that you have some form of gardening education or experience in park/garden maintenance. Familiarity with handling both small and large green area machinery is an advantage. Professional certificates for excavators and loaders are desirable, as well as training for brush cutters and chainsaws.

About Us

Tierp Parish consists of three congregations located in an environment with a rich variety of landscapes: Hållnäs-Österlövsta, Västland, and Tolfta. The parish has seven beautiful churches from the medieval period onwards. The parish also has a vibrant cultural and concert life, with Lövstabruk as a central point.

Start Date

Start date is April 27 to November 1. The employment is a seasonal position and is full-time during the period.
