As a facility technician at Riksbyggen, you will be one of those who work closest to the customer. The work is varied, social, and you work independently with great freedom to solve the challenges you face in your job.

Make a Difference with Us

As a facility technician, you will primarily work with technical operational issues and be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the properties' technical systems. You will work in both residential and commercial properties. Your tasks will include regular repairs and inspections of the properties' heating and ventilation systems as well as other property-related technology. You are encouraged to come up with your own suggestions and ideas for improvements.

Examples of Tasks:

• Supervision and maintenance of the properties' technical systems on-site
• Performing service on heating, cooling, ventilation, and control systems
• Managing periodic service schedules
• Conducting air and temperature measurements for our customers
• Troubleshooting heating, hot water, and ventilation problems for our customers
• Repair and maintenance actions in technical systems
• Modernization/new installation of control equipment
• Programming, installation, and commissioning of control equipment
• Meter readings and follow-up of energy statistics
• Conducting systematic fire protection work
• Daily communication with customers, operations, colleagues, and suppliers

You contribute with your expertise and engagement. We are looking for someone with a facility technician education at least at the high school level or equivalent experience acquired in another way.

A broad property technical competence through several years of relevant work experience in heating and ventilation systems, control and regulation technology is a prerequisite for the job. We would like you to have basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements.

It is important that you are social and have the ability to create an open and trusting dialogue with customers and your colleagues. You can work independently, have strong problem-solving skills, and work in a businesslike manner. You are a cheerful and positive team player who enjoys contributing to the group's results.

You enjoy providing good service and always act professionally in your customer contacts. You want to be part of creating a good and sustainable long-term environment.

• You have a good ability to work administratively with digital tools
• You express yourself well in both speech and writing.
• You have a B driver's license

The position is permanent full-time based in Uppsala, but work in other locations within the market area may occur.
