About the job as Fleet Manager Procurement:

As Fleet Manager Procurement at Jefferson Wells, working with our client Mälarenergi in Västerås, you will have a central and strategic role in the work with the group's vehicle fleet. You will work closely with the business and procurement, and be responsible for developing, optimizing, and quality assuring the work related to vehicles, guidelines, and governing documents. The role involves both long-term strategic work and daily operational management of vehicle-related issues.

You will be an important partner in matters concerning contracts, procurement, requirements setting, and sustainability goals. The role also includes contributing to the group's development work, safety work, and actively sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues.

Common tasks include:

• Overall ownership responsibility for the vehicle fleet, including guidelines, instructions, and governing documents.
• Drive improvement work and ensure compliance with goals, guidelines, and instructions.
• Optimize the vehicle fleet with a focus on cost-effectiveness, quality, and environment.
• Support the business through requirements setting, needs analysis, advice, and daily management of vehicle issues.
• Be a partner to the business and procurement in matters concerning contracts, requirements setting, and procurement.
• Conduct continuous market monitoring of the vehicle market.
• Participate in the group's work environment, environmental, and development efforts.

The candidate we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and communicative, and who enjoys a role where you can combine strategic responsibility with operational work. You have experience working with routines, policies, and structured working methods, preferably from a role as a fleet administrator or similar. You are used to being a key person in the organization and have the ability to coordinate and create structure in teams and processes.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a university degree and an interest in vehicle issues, sustainability, and business development.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with routines, policies, and structured working methods.
• Has experience in fleet administration or a similar role.
• Has the ability to work strategically and coordinate teams related to structure and planning.
• Is communicative and enjoys an advisory role.
• Is analytical and works methodically.
• Has an interest in market monitoring and the development of vehicle-related processes.
