About us
The Emergency Care Department (AVA) and the Intermediate Care Department (IMA) are part of the emergency clinic. A clinic in constant development with a strong focus on development and improvement work. Right now, there is a special emphasis on planning the move to the new emergency building, which will take place in early 2026.
AVA is an emergency care department, which means that patients are cared for a shorter time with us. We receive acutely ill patients - often directly from the emergency department. We care for patients from various clinical affiliations but mainly medicine and surgical patients. We collaborate with several professions, which provides good competence development for our employees. You will have close cooperation with doctors from various specialties, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, etc.
IMA is a department with a higher level of care that is integrated into AVA. Here, patients with vital function failures who need closer monitoring and other interventions are cared for. We have, among other things, respiratory support and arterial needles. To work in IMA, one needs experience in emergency care - for example, AVA - and training from our educational nurse. Currently, IMA has four open care places, but we are now recruiting with the goal of opening four more places.

Your tasks
You will work to monitor, treat, investigate, and, as far as possible, finalize the treatment of patients. Common medical conditions among our patients include chest pain, cramps, breathing difficulties, intoxications, abdominal pain, bleeding, and infections. The work is very varied as the lengths of stay are short, and no day is the same. With us, you will gain a broad foundation!
Your competence
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in emergency care is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are a person who enjoys varied tasks, has an interest in learning new things, has good collaboration skills, and enjoys teamwork. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
Employment form
Temporary position for at least 6 months with start date according to agreement.
