About Us

The Medical Clinic is the largest clinic in the region, specializing in nephrology, general internal medicine including emergency care at the emergency department and AVA, cardiology, geriatrics, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, SSIH/palliative care, and neurology/stroke. The neurology/stroke section is responsible for investigation, care, and treatment at our neurology outpatient clinic and stroke unit. Currently, our section has seven experienced specialists and three residents at different stages of their specialist training. We are now looking for another resident who wants to be part of the continued development of our operations. We are an ambitious team that enjoys sharing our knowledge and prioritizes good supervision. We are looking for someone with a team spirit who wants a varied job at a clinic and a hospital that has all the advantages of a medium-sized hospital, both breadth and depth. Your Responsibilities

Standard duties as a resident physician. These include work in outpatient care at the neurology clinic and inpatient care at the stroke unit. We work in teams around most diagnosis groups within neurology/stroke. As part of the rotation in internal medicine, there is also service at our emergency department. The section's specialists staff a function as a neurology consultant during weekdays and there is a stroke thrombolysis on-call service available 24/7, with backup on-call from home during off-hours. Your Qualifications

Licensed physician with an interest in neurology. We also see that you have good communication skills in contact with patients, relatives, and your colleagues. Proficiency in Swedish according to the EU self-assessment scale level C1 is required. Personal suitability is of great importance. There is an opportunity for integrated BT/ST.

Employment Type

Permanent employment. Start date by agreement.
