Our Operations

Our area of operation includes cardiology, clinical physiology, and thoracic surgery. Within our area, there is much development and research that is exciting to be a part of!

On ward 50F, we provide pre- and post-operative care as well as care for patients who are ready for discharge and are waiting for a place in the municipality. For these patients, we have 8 care places open around the clock. In addition, we also have a daytime operation in Cardiac Care on the ward, which means that patients are cared for during the day for procedures such as ablation, angiography, pacemaker battery replacement, electrical cardioversion, etc. We have a high pace of work that can change quickly, but we help each other, support one another, and have fun every day!

Your Mission

As a summer substitute with us on 50F, you are part of our wonderful team. You will have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge in nursing and work with medical technology. We have clear routines and are keen to support and help each other. We are proud of our department and have a very nice atmosphere in the workgroup!

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or a nursing student from semester 3 or a medical student from semester 4. You have good knowledge and skills in basic nursing and preferably experience working in hospital care. It is an advantage if you are used to taking blood samples, measuring blood pressure, performing EKGs, and can insert catheters.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has good knowledge and skills in basic nursing and preferably experience with the practical tasks we have described above. You have a strong interest in both cardiac care and general nursing. You have a good demeanor and can work both independently and in a team with varying work pace. Furthermore, it is important that you enjoy working with people, have good collaborative and communicative skills.

We Offer

We offer you a temporary position for the summer of 2026 with a start date according to agreement. We prefer that you can work the entire summer period from week 25-33, and you are welcome to start the introduction earlier. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends with a degree of employment that can be discussed.
