Regionservice is a service organization that exists to support the region's operations. Our mission is to meet the need for service offerings by best supporting healthcare so that good care of high quality can be offered to residents. Our service offerings include cleaning, meal service, administrative service, logistics, and distribution, with cleaning being our largest service area. Services must be delivered with high efficiency and quality. A lively customer dialogue is of utmost importance to us. We are now looking for service employees for summer temporary positions at the Central Kitchen and Café & Shop Träffpunkten. When you submit your application, you will rank your preferred work area.

Your Tasks

Our tasks in the central kitchen consist of preparing meals for inpatients at the hospital in Karlstad, forensic psychiatry in Kristinehamn, the hospital in Arvika, and for individuals with approved meal distribution within Karlstad, Kristinehamn, and Hammarö municipalities. Every day we prepare about 1500 meals for patients consisting of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We prepare about 600 lunch portions for our restaurants every weekday and 6000 meal boxes/week for seniors at home. As a service employee, you are an important part of the logistical flow in the kitchen, and your tasks include table setting, food packaging, and dishwashing.

Café & Shop Träffpunkten is a café and kiosk operation located adjacent to the main entrance of the Central Hospital in Karlstad. We produce simple dishes, bread, and pastries and work daily with orders from operations in the building. As a service employee at Träffpunkten, your work is varied and divided between the shop, café, dishwashing, and inventory management. You work daily with service towards our customers.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who has completed high school education and has experience from large kitchens or the restaurant industry. To work at Träffpunkten, experience with cash handling is also a requirement.

As a person, you are flexible and have the ability to prioritize when the work demands it. You have good collaboration and communication skills with both colleagues and customers. It is natural for you to work with environmental and sustainability considerations. The nature of the position also means that you need to be able to maintain a high pace without compromising good service and quality.
