We at Eskilstuna Strängnäs Energi och Miljö ensure that everyday life works for everyone living in the municipalities of Eskilstuna and Strängnäs. We do this by making sure that electricity, district heating, water and sewage, waste collection, and recycling operate as they should, both today and in the future. As a summer employee with us, you will get to experience what it’s like to work in an industry that is constantly evolving and changing. Therefore, it is important that during your time here, you want to help develop the company together with us. You do this best by taking responsibility to make your time with us as educational and enjoyable as possible, both for yourself and your colleagues. This means that you follow the safety regulations and workplace rules that exist and that you use good judgment. Taking responsibility also means, of course, that you ask questions if you wonder about something. With us, there are no stupid questions; many of us are here to help answer so that you can carry out your tasks in the best way possible and also gain a better understanding of our industry and how we impact people's daily lives. Important to know about the summer jobs

• Our summer jobs are aimed at youth from the year you turn 16.
• This year, we are looking for summer employees who want to work in our business areas during different periods. Please note that you can request several periods but can only be employed during one. We will try as much as possible to accommodate your choice, but it may happen that we offer you a different period/business area than you requested.
•       The working hours and employment levels for the various jobs vary. When you start, you will receive a schedule indicating how you are expected to work. Evening and weekend work may occur.
 
•       We believe that diversity is good and are looking for youth with different backgrounds, genders, and ages.
