The Role of a Housing Support Worker with Us
In your role with us, you will have the opportunity to work on the development of the organization and help shape the methods needed to meet the future.
We who work in the home team provide housing support to individuals with mental disabilities and individuals within the LSS group 1. We work in the individual's home and provide support in daily life by training skills and motivating the individual towards positive changes in their life situation through conversations. The work is done in a team of four people with a lot of collaboration, while the position also involves working alone.
Your Profile
As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and attentive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, delivering results and prioritizing your tasks effectively. You see opportunities in changes, take your own initiatives, and come up with new approaches to work-related issues. You actively collaborate with your colleagues and continuously share experiences, insights, and any challenges. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
We are looking for someone who has:
- completed a nursing program with a focus on psychiatry and/or is a social worker, social pedagogue, or has another education in the field that the employer deems equivalent
- experience working with individuals with mental disabilities and/or individuals belonging to LSS group 1
- a B driver's license for manual transmission
It is an advantage if you have:
- experience working with clear pedagogical methods
- relevant experience working with technical aids
- experience in the field of neuropsychiatry
- experience working with young adults with diagnoses of ADHD and autism

We in the home team operate from a location in central Kungsbacka but cover the entire municipality. We are geographically divided into three teams. We work according to IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus) and use care and support coordination in our work.

Our Offer and Additional Information
We offer two permanent full-time positions with start dates according to agreement.
In addition to daytime work, you will work one evening a week and every sixth weekend.
