The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services grounded in several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Care Act.

This may involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting persons with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant, you will provide care and social support to individuals in need. You will work based on individual action plans and be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on measures that promote the user's independence, security, and well-being.

Your tasks will include:

• Personal care and support in daily life
• Health and medical care tasks as delegated
• Documentation in digital systems
• Support for relatives and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals

The work can take place in various types of operations, both within special housing for the elderly and short-term housing for the elderly. The work is scheduled for daytime, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a care assistant, you need a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility, and respectful interaction. You enjoy collaborating but are also confident in working independently. Your commitment and sensitivity to the needs of others are crucial for success in this role.

We also expect that you have:

• Approved care assistant training with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• A valid driver's license or cycling experience may be required depending on the operation.

Experience in elderly care is an advantage.
