About the operation Kista Alléväg is a group home according to LSS that caters to adults with diagnoses within the autism spectrum or intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to provide everyone with a meaningful everyday life based on their unique needs and abilities, contributing to a satisfying life. Currently, there are 6 residents in the home, several of whom require increased care and support, as well as additional aids in their daily lives such as: (walkers, wheelchairs, ceiling and floor lifts). The operation is located in a multi-family house, with its own courtyard, close to buses, subway, commuter trains, and Kista Galleria with a wide range of shops.

About the role As a residential support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will assist with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the residents to develop and maintain their abilities. The working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends. Each shift consists of 3-4 staff members. We have dedicated awake night staff, so no night work is required.

You will also have a group leader who manages the work on-site near you, who also works part of their time in the operation. The operation also has a support pedagogue who, together with the operations manager, group leader, and work group, drives the pedagogical work forward.
