Instrument Technician at Bilfinger Maintenance Center

Bilfinger Maintenance is one of five business areas within Bilfinger Sweden AB. We specialize in the maintenance of industrial facilities and currently have over 300 employees, from Helsingborg in the south to Gävle in the north. Our headquarters is located in Stenungsund.
About the Position
We at Bilfinger Maintenance Center are now looking for another experienced instrument technician to join our team of 20 people. You will be based in Stenungsund but will work throughout Sweden, which means that travel and overtime are part of the job.
Your Responsibilities:
- Installations and projects
- Tubing installations
- Maintenance and upkeep work
- Ensure the daily operation of our customers' existing systems
- Planning, execution, and reporting of work
- Checkout and commissioning of new installations
- Troubleshooting in PLC systems
- Lead certain projects

About You
As a person, you are driven, independent, and flexible. You understand the value of community in the workgroup, share your knowledge, and support your colleagues. You enjoy challenges and are motivated to learn new things to grow in your role. You easily adapt to changing tasks and contribute ideas to improve the work. Safety is a given for you, and you have good skills in analytical troubleshooting and reading drawings.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as an Instrument Technician
- Experience in analytical troubleshooting
- Experience in installation work
- Basic knowledge of PLC and control systems
- High school education in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Driving license B
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
