Maintenance Technician at Orkla Foods, Kungshamn

We are now looking for a maintenance technician for our department who wants to help drive our operations forward.

Responsibilities and Tasks

As a maintenance technician, you will systematically plan and perform maintenance activities throughout our production facility together with your colleagues. You will also work on safety and production-related improvements of the equipment in the operation.

In your role, you are expected to independently perform machining for the manufacturing and repair of spare parts. As a maintenance technician, you are also a knowledge sharer between close colleagues and operators. You will also participate in various projects and improvement work being carried out at the facility.

Qualifications

To succeed and thrive in the role of maintenance technician, we believe you have the following qualifications:

You have a technical education and/or background focused on workshop, industry, or automation, or equivalent experience.
You are accustomed to using a computer as a daily tool in your work.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of pneumatics, machining, welding, electrical and automation knowledge, as well as hydraulics and refrigeration technology.

Furthermore, we believe you have good analytical skills, a high sense of service, and a good sense of order. You are a person with a structured working method and can easily adapt to changing conditions. During periods when the workload increases, you are proactive and find solutions to the problems that arise in daily work.

The working hours are usually during the day, but shifted working hours, overtime, shift work, and on-call work may occur. The position is a permanent full-time employment.
