Position/Job: Summer substitutes for VA

Location: Orust municipality

Now, ahead of the summer, we are looking for one or two extra resources for our VA facilities. One for pump stations and one for wastewater treatment plants. During the summer period, the population of Orust quadruples in the western part of the island, which significantly increases the pressure on our VA facilities.

We currently have 7 wastewater treatment plants and over 100 pump stations. We are a safe and close-knit team, and you will have great opportunities for training and support during your time with us.

Your tasks

The position involves supporting the regular operational staff, patrolling our beautiful environment in Orust. Mostly on the western side of Orust, including Käringön and Gullholmen. Either by car, our own boat, or by ferry, to patrol and flush our wastewater pump stations and wastewater treatment plants. Other tasks within VA may also be relevant as needed.

About you

You must be over 18 years old and have a B driver's license and be able to work independently. Experience or education (ongoing or completed) in process or VA is an advantage. The work can sometimes be somewhat physically demanding as it involves some walking with a smaller amount of equipment on the islands where cars are not allowed and only walking paths exist. However, there are electric scooters available on each island.
