It is advantageous if you have experience in surgical nursing, acute care, and/or postoperative care, but we also encourage those who have worked as a nurse for at least a year to apply.

This position is a rotation position, meaning you will work 5 weeks in department 53 - acute surgery and 5 weeks in postop. You will thus become a very important link between the two operations where you contribute to strong collaboration. Both workplaces have excellent workgroups that are engaged and competent, and you will work together with various professional groups as well as the doctors in the acute team and anesthesia.

You will be responsible for the nursing work around both newly operated and acutely ill patients. You will work with both advanced medical equipment and advanced medical care. You will meet patients of various ages and with a wide variety of surgical procedures and medical conditions. It is a varied and educational job with sometimes high tempo, and the acute patients ensure that no day is like the other.

We work with person-centered care based on evidence-based knowledge, and we have specialist nurses available for support.

We offer a permanent full-time position, with working hours scheduled during the day. Start date according to agreement, selection and interviews are ongoing, and positions may be filled before the application deadline.
