Primary Care in Jokkmokk Municipality

The primary care in Jokkmokk municipality is a workplace where proximity is the focus. Our teams work together on various levels to provide the best possible care to the residents.

We are now looking for dedicated and competent nursing assistants for summer positions in our team! As a nursing assistant in municipal primary care, you will work closely with our patients, perform nursing tasks, and support their daily lives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your work will involve both independent tasks and close teamwork with licensed personnel. You will, among other things:

  • Perform sampling, treatments, and other health care tasks delegated by a nurse, primarily within home care.
  • Provide support and conversations to patients to promote their well-being.
  • Document care interventions in our operational system Combine.
  • Participate in planning and evaluation of care and support interventions.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and relatives to ensure high quality of care.
  • Be responsible for supplies.
  • Follow applicable work environment and safety routines as well as legislation within health care.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant
  • Experience in municipal primary care is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Work in a structured and responsible manner
  • Knowledge and experience of venipuncture
  • Knowledge and experience of wound dressings
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required
