At Garnis short-term accommodation, users come who, for various reasons, cannot stay at home. This may be in connection with discharge from the hospital for rehabilitation, respite care, palliative care, etc. The work at the short-term accommodation is varied, stimulating, and developing as we face new and exciting challenges daily. We are looking for a care assistant, the position is full-time and permanent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Care and support for individuals in need of assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, activation, and social documentation.

Medical tasks may occur and are delegated by medically responsible personnel after completing internal training.

You work with the individual's needs at the center and have the user in focus. As a care assistant, you are part of a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, and unit manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have completed the Nursing Program or similar. Experience working in elderly care is an advantage.

You are a person who enjoys meeting people in various situations, thrives in teamwork, and is creative and responsible.

You are confident in documenting and using various systems required for the job. You should master the Swedish language in speech, writing, and comprehension, as it involves contact with users, relatives, documentation, and reading information related to the work.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
