Temporary Workers Needed for Social Services in Arvidsjaur

Arvidsjaur Municipality is now seeking engaged and responsible temporary workers for our social services. We are looking for individuals who want to work with people and contribute to creating security, participation, and good care.

As a temporary worker with us, you will be employed through the Staffing Unit. Assignments apply when regular staff are absent.

How it works: You will be intermittently employed (temporary worker) and receive ongoing requests for shifts – sometimes with short notice (the same day), sometimes with longer lead time. You indicate your availability in our digital booking system.

As a temporary worker with us, you can work in several areas, depending on the needs of the services and your interests:

  • Elderly care
  • Home care Day/Night
  • Special housing Day/Night
  • Short-term housing
  • Department of Support and Care (ASO)
  • LSS operations in group homes, housing support, and daily activities, personal assistance, short-term leisure for children and youth

Working hours vary and may include days, evenings, weekends, and nights.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine interest in people, and your empathetic ability combined with your respect for individual integrity contributes to creating a safe and dignified everyday life for our care recipients. You are positive, flexible, and have a good sense of service.
  • Is flexible and enjoys stepping in as needed.

Education in care is an asset – but not a requirement. Previous experience in similar work is a plus.

Requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • A driving license may be an asset depending on the service
  • Criminal record extract
  • Since documentation and communication are part of daily work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

There is an opportunity to introduce yourself to several services.
