In the role of nursing assistant and quality supervisor at Forenede Care Norshöjden, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents. Norshöjden is a special accommodation focused on dementia care and has 62 places, located in 8 different departments.

Norshöjden is situated about two kilometers outside central Falun. The surrounding area features forests with plenty of walking paths.

In the position of nursing assistant, you will work with care and support based on the residents' wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You will assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, respond to alarms, and provide social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can involve chatting, playing games, going on outings, cycling, or engaging in fun activities together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff, including medication administration and training.

As a quality supervisor, you will have additional responsibilities on your department regarding planning and guidance. You will be responsible for creating a daily plan that you and your colleagues will follow. You will also participate in regular management meetings. You will ensure that routines in your department are followed and adhered to.

Job Description

The position is 80% and is permanent with a 6-month probationary period.

The position starts: as agreed.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• The certificate "Proof of the right to use the professional title nursing assistant" from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

• Experience in elderly care and/or dementia care.

• Good computer skills.

To thrive in this position, you should be engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building positive relationships and being service-oriented. You should have a knack for planning and be structured as a person. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
