Registered Nurse for the Psychiatric Clinic in Skellefteå

Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into regional and local healthcare areas. In the local healthcare area of Skellefteå, the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö are included. Together, these aim to provide good and close care.

The Psychiatric Clinic, consisting of approximately 270 employees, provides both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as psychiatric compulsory care. The outpatient care includes an Emergency and Assessment Unit, which includes eating disorder services, two adult clinics targeting individuals aged 26 and above, the Young Adults clinic targeting individuals aged 18-25, as well as a medical unit, MBT team, and Elderly team. The inpatient care consists of two acute psychiatric wards and a dependency ward with an associated detoxification unit. The dependency care also includes an outpatient clinic, LARO clinic, and a dual diagnosis team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for licensed nurses for inpatient care. The tasks will consist of working with standard nursing duties such as medication administration, sampling, assessments, motivational interviewing, and being the contact person for a number of patients.

As a nurse with us, you have a broad care perspective with the patient at the center. You will work closely with other staff within the unit, relatives, and care neighbors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed Nurse, further education in psychiatry, and experience in psychiatric care or dependency care are advantageous.

Valuable qualities in you are the ability to collaborate, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Therefore, we have our own mentoring program at the clinic where we appoint an experienced nurse to be your mentor as a new employee.
