System Administrator at KTH

Responsibilities

The role of system administrator in the finance department is broad and suits you who have an understanding of both accounting and systems technology. The role includes ongoing register maintenance in the financial system, such as setting up and managing permissions, delegations in EFH, project conversions, and correcting system errors.

You will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining permissions in our framework banks as well as other administration, such as taking meeting notes, maintaining and updating manuals, and providing technical support to colleagues when needed.

To succeed in this role, you have experience working with larger payment flows, preferably within accounts payable or accounts receivable. This gives you an important understanding of our needs and the requirements placed on accounting and quality.

As a system administrator in BoS, you primarily support the group manager and the two process leaders. You are eager to take your own initiatives to simplify and streamline work, and you are involved in driving development projects within our processes in the group and the areas where improvement needs are identified.

About the Department/Group

The BoS group (Payment Flows and System Support) is part of KTH's finance department and consists of 23 employees. The group includes a group manager, two process leaders for the customer and supplier teams, accounts receivable accountants, administrators, and a system administrator with management responsibility.

Within the finance department's staff, there are also two system specialists for Unit4 ERP, with whom the system administrator in BoS has a close and established collaboration.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in accounting and/or computer science, for example from university, YH, or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Experience of at least 1 year working with accounts receivable or accounting.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and professional level in English in both spoken and written form, good knowledge of the Office suite, which is a requirement in daily work
• Previous experience as a superuser, system administrator, or another similar role within financial systems or business systems.

• Experience from an educational institution or organization with large payment flows.
• Documented experience of improvement work within the accounts receivable process.
