About the position: This is a part-time job at Länstrafiken for those who want to combine customer service with studies or other employment. Länstrafiken in Västerbotten is looking for 2-3 customer service representatives for extra work as needed throughout the year. For those interested, there is an opportunity to work full-time during the summer period. You choose shifts based on your availability, but we would like you to be able to work approximately one shift per week on average. As a guideline, this usually corresponds to about 25-30 hours per month, but many who want to work significantly more. This is a part-time job that is easy to combine with studies or other employment.

Your role: As a customer service representative at Reseinfo, you will be part of an experienced team that assists travelers before, during, and after their journey. You will work where the need arises at our three workplaces in Umeå:

  • Reseinfo Vasaplan

  • Reseinfo NUS

  • Telephone service East in the city

Customer service is open weekdays from 06:00 to 23:00, weekends from 07:00 to 23:00, and holidays from 08:00 to 21:00, which means you may have varying shifts during the day, evening, and weekends. Before you work independently, you will receive thorough training and internal education.

Main responsibilities:

  • Inform, assist, and guide travelers throughout their journey

  • Sell tickets

  • Provide traffic information and publish traffic updates

  • Register feedback and handle administrative tasks

  • In the evenings and on weekends: book, coordinate, and arrange medical transport and special transport

Who do we think you are?

Requirements

  • Completed high school education

  • Experience in switchboard, customer service, or other service occupations

  • Very good Swedish in speech and writing, good spoken English

  • Good computer and system skills

  • Ability to interpret and follow regulations and agreements

Meritorious

  • Work experience with customer contact

Personal qualities

  • Communicative and service-oriented

  • Responsive, patient, and stress-resistant

  • Enjoy working both independently and in a team

  • Creates security through your approach and can prioritize easily when many things are happening

Especially suitable if you

  • Are studying or have another primary occupation

  • Have at least 1 year left of your studies (long-term commitment is an advantage)

  • Can take 1-2 shifts/week when it suits you – and preferably more when possible

  • Want to switch to full-time during the summer
