JENSEN Preschool Gamla staden is hiring kitchen staff!

In August 2025, we will open a new preschool in central Malmö, JENSEN Preschool Gamla staden on Altonagatan.

We are looking for a dedicated team member for our kitchen who is passionate about providing children with a positive dining experience. You will assist with the preparation and cleanup for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children at the preschool, including dishwashing and some cleaning of the dining areas. To thrive with us, you should be open, flexible, and efficient, and share our values regarding competent, independent children according to our concept "Training for Reality".

Our meals are prepared in our kitchen by a chef and are high-quality, nutritious, and varied. We have a sustainability mindset and actively work to utilize ingredients in the best way. Additionally, you share our thoughts on the importance of safeguarding children's health and well-being, including actively working to reduce the amount of refined sugar they consume.

As part of our kitchen staff, you will have overall responsibility for hygiene in the kitchen and the quality of the meals served at the preschool, which you take very seriously. Furthermore, you have a strong desire to brighten the children's day at preschool by offering them the "little extra" that your passion for food can provide.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have experience working in a kitchen, as well as education/knowledge in hygienic handling of food and ingredients. It is also important to us that you have a drive to develop within your role, that you dare to take initiative, and that you can express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing.

Employment Type

The position is a general fixed-term employment until 2025-12-31 at 37.5% (3 hours per day between 10 AM and 1 PM). Start date as soon as possible or as agreed.
