About the job We are looking for a cleaning team leader for our housekeeping team at one of our hotels. This is a fun and responsible position for someone with solid experience in hotel cleaning and who enjoys a leadership role that combines operational work with staff management.

About the position As a cleaning team leader, you will be responsible for the daily operations within housekeeping. The role includes:

• Leading and supporting staff in their daily work

• Inspecting hotel rooms and ensuring quality according to established standards

• Cleaning rooms and/or public areas as needed

• Maintaining overall control of the property during your shift

• Responsible for reporting and follow-up

• Planning and ensuring staffing – making sure there is always staff on site

• Introducing and training staff to meet fire safety and quality standards

• Working with pace and efficiency within the team

• Being the link between the hotel and your staff

You will have a supervisor and assistant staff to help you.

Working hours The position is 50 % and the schedule is as follows:

Week 1:

• Monday 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM (team leader role)

• Friday 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM (team leader role)

• 2 extra shifts for room cleaning/public cleaning

Week 2:

• Monday 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM (team leader role)

• Friday 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM (team leader role)

• Saturday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (team leader role)

• Sunday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (team leader role)

• 1 extra shift for room cleaning/public cleaning

NOTE: The schedule above is an example and may change. The hotel industry is constantly evolving, which means that flexibility is a requirement for the position.

During the period June 15 – August 15, the position will be expanded to 75 %. During the summer, there is also the opportunity to:

• Support other hotels

• Work on administrative tasks from the office

• Take additional shifts in room cleaning or public cleaning to fill out working hours

Who are you? We are looking for someone who:

• Has extensive experience in hotel housekeeping

• Knows how it works to work as a housekeeper/team leader

• Has at least 3 years of experience in the role

• Has good references

• Is structured, responsible, and service-oriented

• Has the ability to motivate, train, and develop staff

• Has an eye for detail and quality
