Job Description

BizMaker is looking for a communicator with a focus on social media and content creation. Are you ready to give entrepreneurship, innovation, and future optimism a voice in Västernorrland?

We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with people, ideas, and events, transforming what happens into engaging content for social media and other channels. You are quick-witted, comfortable in meetings with others, and strong in both form and content.

As a communicator at BizMaker, you will work closely with the business and the people within it. You capture what happens in meetings, projects, events, and everyday life, and turn it into relevant, visually appealing, and engaging communication, with a particular focus on social media and content creation.

The role is both strategic and operational. You will help plan communication but will also be the one who produces, publishes, and follows up. This may involve content for social media, graphic material, campaigns, newsletters, press releases, and communication support for events and activities.

You will meet many people, entrepreneurs, colleagues, partners, and stakeholders throughout the region. This requires you to be communicative, curious, and able to easily make contact, ask questions, and quickly build trust.

You will work from one of our offices in Härnösand, Sundsvall, Ånge, or Örnsköldsvik. Travel may be required as BizMaker has a regional mission.

We believe you are someone who enjoys pace, variety, and meeting people. You are confident in your role as a communicator, willing to take space, and quick to see what makes a good story and how it should be told.

You are strong in form and have a good sense of visual communication. You enjoy creating content that looks good and feels relevant, and you are aware of how different social channels function and are used.

You are self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented, but you also enjoy collaborating and contributing your perspective to the team. You are curious, attentive, and like to try new things.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience working as a communicator, focusing on social media and content production
• Very good ability to express yourself in writing in Swedish, and good knowledge of English
• Strong sense of visual communication and graphic design
• Experience working with Adobe programs such as InDesign and Photoshop
• Familiarity with working with social media and content adaptation for various channels
• Ability to work fluently in Office 365

It is advantageous if you have experience in photo and video production as well as working with web publishing tools like WordPress.

Start date preferably March 1. All employees are covered by a collective agreement. Scope: 55%-75%. In the final stages of the recruitment process, we will ask for a work sample.

• Act as support during events and activities and collaborate with entrepreneurs and partners throughout the region
