Welcome to us

Sköndal School is located in the picturesque and rapidly expanding area of Sköndal, close to Drevviken.

The school has about 500 students in grades F-6 with integrated after-school care and leisure club. The staff is organized in working teams where we collectively take responsibility for the students' knowledge acquisition and social development based on an inclusive and salutogenic approach. We have a well-developed collaboration between preschool class, after-school care/leisure club, and school. With us, everyone should thrive, feel safe, and experience joy at work!

Your role

You will be part of the student health team at the school and participate in the preventive and health-promoting work at the school so that all students receive adequate support. The work involves many points of contact with students, staff, and guardians.

Responsibilities include, among others:

  • As a psychologist, you are expected to contribute psychological expertise as support in the educational work and in the structural and organizational work of student health.
  • Provide guidance and consultative support to the student health team, educators, and guardians.
  • Conduct assessments and investigations as needed.
  • Contribute knowledge about mental health, risk and protective factors.
  • Documentation responsibility.
  • Observations.

Your qualifications and experience

Requirements:

  • Swedish psychologist license.
  • You must have documented experience of conducting various types of investigations.
  • You must have experience in supervision with good results.
  • You must have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • You enjoy and have the ability to drive development work.

Meritorious:

  • Previous experience of working in schools, student health, or otherwise with children and young people.
  • Experience with documentation in the Prorenata journal system.
  • Conducted training initiatives/lectures.
