Öckerö Maritime Center (ÖMC) is a non-profit organization aimed at training sailors, fishermen, rescue workers, and others in maritime safety. ÖMC is a complete training center that also has its own conference hotel, and we are now looking for hotel staff to work during the peak season.

About the job:

We are looking for staff who can work at our conference hotel throughout the summer as we have our peak season. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the important task of maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, service, and hospitality at the hotel. You and your colleagues contribute to the overall order in all areas of the conference hotel, and your duties include breakfast service, dishwashing, purchasing, cleaning, light maintenance tasks, and reception work.

Your work is performed carefully according to agreed routines, guidelines, and with high quality. To thrive in this role, you need to be self-motivated, handy, meticulous, and have an eye for detail. It is important that you have good physical fitness as heavy lifting is involved, are flexible, and have good teamwork skills since all employees together are responsible for the guests' experience at ÖMC.

You spread positive energy around you and are a caring colleague. The job requires that you have good computer skills and are a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Previous experience in the restaurant/hotel industry is a requirement, and you must be fluent in both Swedish and English and hold a driver's license.

The position is a part-time employment where you are expected to work 75 - 100% during the summer season. Working hours are scheduled Monday-Sunday according to a roster.
