We are now looking for a Supply Planner for our Logistics Department. The position is a permanent employment with immediate start. Working hours are during the day, located at our factory in Södra Vi (formerly Ljunghäll). You will be the one with overall responsibility for incoming materials. You will be part of the Logistics organization and report to the Regional Logistics Manager.
About the role…
As a Supply Planner, you are responsible for planning and ordering direct materials as well as aluminum, which is our raw material. You play a central role in ensuring the availability of incoming materials and efficient inventory management.
You will plan, follow up, and monitor the production flow based on inventory and delivery plans. The position involves regular contact with suppliers as well as daily internal contacts with production planners, team leaders, and operators.
Your main responsibilities include:
Planning of material flows: Analyze forecasts and ensure the right inventory balance based on customer needs and manage delivery plans, purchase orders, and manufacturing orders, etc., in our business system.
Optimization of the supply chain: Identify improvement opportunities to reduce costs and lead times.
Collaboration with internal teams: Communicate closely with logistics, production, and purchasing.
Follow up and act on delivery and inventory deviations.
We are looking for someone who…
Has experience in supply chain, logistics, or purchasing.
Is accustomed to working in business systems and has good knowledge of Excel.
Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Has a post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, or purchasing.
It is advantageous if you have experience with SAP and LEAN processes or improvement work within the supply chain.
As a person, you are driven and solution-oriented, and you thrive in a role where you can work independently and take responsibility for your part in the process. You enjoy being the spider in the web and having many points of contact.
You are analytical and have a good ability to plan, structure, and prioritize. You are clear and receptive in your communication, both internally and with suppliers. To fit the role, it is important that you are flexible, solution-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
