RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Traffic Planner, you are the planning expert for your traffic areas and a key person in creating effective and customer-adapted solutions. You work proactively to analyze and develop traffic to contribute to more satisfied customers. By optimizing resources, reducing disruptions, and ensuring high delivery precision, you create conditions for well-functioning traffic, all in accordance with traffic agreements, laws, and internal guidelines.

Your role includes, among other things:

  • Analyzing traffic areas and suggesting improvements
  • Planning traffic and developing service schedules in collaboration with operations
  • Documenting analyses and changes
  • Developing key figures and planning parameters
  • Being the contact person for the principal in traffic matters
  • Participating in meetings, collaborating with trade unions, and contributing to process development
  • Working in planning tools and contributing to increased travel and sustainability

As a Traffic Planner, you report to the Traffic Planning Manager and are part of both the local management group and the traffic planning working group. We have the flexibility to accommodate where you are based. The position can be located in Kalmar, Malmö, or Stockholm.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in logistics, planning, statistics, urban planning, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in logistics and personnel planning as well as working with relevant system support.
  • Knowledge of working time legislation, labor law, and occupational health and safety.
  • Industry knowledge is an advantage, as well as experience with planning tools such as Trapeze, Hastus, or Rebus.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You have the ability to manage multiple parallel projects, are communicative and collaborative, and enjoy working data-driven. Your creativity and calmness during intense periods make you a reliable and professional colleague.
