Arla Foods is looking for forklift drivers for summer 2026 in Vimmerby

The Vimmerby powder plant is Arla's most modern milk powder facility and handles a large part of the Swedish milk surplus. To produce one kilogram of milk powder, 8 to 10 kilograms of milk are needed. The milk primarily comes from Arla farms in the region. In Vimmerby, whole milk and skim milk powder are produced in various qualities to be mainly sold to other food manufacturers that make baked goods, baby food, dairy products, etc., around the world.

Main Responsibilities

• Loading goods according to orders and work plans, as well as other warehouse tasks.
• Registration of goods in our modern warehouse management system.
• Collaboration in an engaged team that collectively takes responsibility for daily tasks.
• Compliance with hygiene and work routines for a safe work environment.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment during certain periods and enjoy staying active.
• Flexibility is an advantage as working hours may vary.

Meritorious

Experience in food production, warehousing, or industrial operations is meritorious. If you also have experience in forklift driving and hold a valid forklift license according to TLP10 and a crane license, we see this as an extra plus. We value accuracy, safety awareness, and your ability to work both independently and in a team.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment, which is a requirement according to our safety and work environment regulations. These include, among other things, forklift traffic and handling hazardous liquids, which places high demands on maturity and responsibility. You also need to have approved basic school grades in Swedish, English, and mathematics. We expect you to be proficient in both spoken and written Swedish and English and have good computer skills.
