About you

You have a high school education and preferably previous experience in traffic management. Since you will be working with many different types of systems, this position requires both strong computer skills and the ability to effectively manage a variety of IT systems. Good Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement.

Previous work in logistics planning, staffing planning, and the service area, as well as geographical knowledge, is meritorious.

Good service is obvious to you; you meet customers, partners, and colleagues in a responsive and engaged manner. For you, problem-solving is rewarding, and you enjoy addressing urgent issues in a structured way. You have good experience working on multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus on details. In this role, good collaboration skills and flexibility are important qualities.

Your future workplace

In this role, you will gain good knowledge of applicable traffic agreements, current legislation, and regulations. This knowledge will be your starting point in daily work where you lead and plan service traffic in a cost-conscious and efficient manner. The work is varied and requires you to prioritize and make decisions based on mandates and regulations. Traffic management is staffed every day of the year and in the evenings, which results in irregular working hours.

Kalmar County Traffic is part of Region Kalmar County and is responsible for public transport in Kalmar County. Our responsibilities include bus traffic, train traffic, medical transport, special transport, school transport, and archipelago traffic.
