We are looking for someone who wants to take an important role in an industrial company that works with advanced aluminum production and delivers components to well-known customers in the automotive industry.

As a Transport Planner, you will have a central role in the daily logistics and be responsible for planning, booking, and executing all transports according to customer requirements and the company's production flow. The role involves a fast-paced environment where you work closely with production, planning colleagues, carriers, and the company's customers. You will primarily work in SAP, where you track orders, releases, and deliveries.

In this role, you will work independently and be responsible for planning and managing the daily transport flow. Transport planning is mainly focused on current and urgent needs, which means you will make ongoing bookings and often need to make quick decisions. The position involves clear deadlines and a continuous need to manage changes in real time. It is therefore important that you thrive in a role where you are the hub of communication and coordination, and where you are expected to create structure in a dynamic environment.

• Plan and coordinate transports based on production and customer needs

• Optimize routes, capacity, and resources

• Manage deviations and quickly find solutions

• Update and follow up transport-related documentation

• Contribute to improvement work within logistics and planning

To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have previous experience in transport planning, logistics, or similar tasks. You are accustomed to working in various systems and have good administrative skills that allow you to quickly understand new workflows.

You communicate clearly and solution-oriented, both internally and externally, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you need to prioritize effectively to make everyday life work. The role also requires that you are confident in making your own decisions when the situation demands it, and that you have the ability to create structure even during periods of high pressure and rapid changes.
