We are now looking for a Department Lead for our warehouse in Kalmar who wants to take a key role in leading teams, ensuring efficient flows, and contributing to a world-class logistics operation.

In this role, you will lead the daily operations in your department, drive engagement within the team, and ensure that both results, quality, and working environment are of high standards. What does the role entail?

As a Department Lead, you are responsible for the daily operations in your department and lead the work both operationally and through a coaching leadership style. You have personnel responsibility and actively work with monitoring key performance indicators, improvement work, and the working environment – with the goal of creating efficient flows and a sustainable, engaged team.

You work closely with your team on a daily basis, are a clear role model, and thrive in the intersection between strategic thinking and operational execution. You report to the Head of Warehouse & Logistics, are part of the warehouse management team, and contribute to the continued development and success of the warehouse.

Your main tasks will be to…

• Lead and develop the daily operations in the department with a focus on efficiency, quality, and delivery

• Coach, inspire, and create engagement within the team

• Follow up and analyze key performance indicators

• Drive improvements related to working methods, flows, and processes

• Ensure structure, order, and a safe working method in daily operations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to create an efficient overall flow

The position is a permanent full-time employment with an immediate start according to agreement. The location is at our warehouse in Kalmar.
