Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to take care of our elderly and contribute to their security in everyday life through work in our digital home care service. The work includes both care and nursing interventions as well as alarm management throughout the municipality. Daily tasks vary and may include responding to security alarms, GPS alarms, and medication alarms, digital supervision, and care in the client's home.

• We are responsible for alarm management throughout the municipality and respond to alarms during the day and evening
• We install and maintain digital devices for our elderly

The work involves being part of a team where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. You perform tasks under the delegation of the responsible nurse. The position includes work during the day and evening as well as every other weekend according to the schedule.

We are looking for someone interested in working as a casual employee (substitute), monthly substitute (with the possibility to start already in spring on a fixed schedule), and/or summer substitute (monthly employed during the summer period).

Before your employment, you will of course receive an introduction, short training, and shadow regular staff to feel secure in your role and develop in your position. You will learn thorough care and how to meet the elderly, as well as take a course so that you can administer medication to the elderly under the delegation of a nurse.

Working Hours:

Day and evening shifts between 07:00–22:30 (7-22.30, 7-15.30, 14-22.30)

Monthly Substitute – Weekends and Extra Compensation

We have no split shifts and our schedule periods are 6 weeks. As a monthly substitute (spring or summer), you always work every other weekend (3 out of 6). Do you want to work more weekends? Each extra shift gives 1,000 SEK gross, and you can take a maximum of 4 extra shifts per schedule period. Note: this applies only to monthly substitutes, not casual employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a B driver's license and good experience with digital aids. You need to have previous experience working in home care and an interest in learning new things. It is advantageous if you have an ongoing or completed high school or post-secondary education in health and care. We see it as a great advantage if you are studying to become a paramedic or nurse. It is also advantageous if you have other experience in healthcare, experience in CPR, and if you have previously worked with security alarms.

Good to Know

For the position, it is mandatory to undergo a digital language test to ensure competence at the B1 level according to the Council of Europe’s standards before the interview. Please note that the process will be interrupted if the language test is not passed. You will need to identify yourself with Bank-ID to take the language test.

If you proceed to an interview, it will begin with an informational part where up to 15 people participate. Each person will then meet briefly for an individual interview. Meetings will occur on specific occasions during odd weeks.

The Health and Care Committee is politically responsible for the administration's work. Our operations involve providing care, support, and services to elderly individuals and those in need of functional support. We also perform certain health and medical care. The vision is that our interventions should be carried out safely, securely, with dignity, and with influence.

The digital home care service is centrally located at Gamla Kronvägen 82 near Partille Arena.
