What does the role entail?

As a property manager with us at Scandic, your main focus is to keep the hotel in excellent condition for our guests. Scandic is a tenant and is operationally responsible for both the hotel's property and the building. The work mainly takes place in hotel rooms and other guest areas, and there will be many greetings in the corridor to our guests - it is precisely there and then that we demonstrate the good service we provide.

In your role, you will work with daily operations as well as planned and corrective maintenance of the hotel's premises and installations such as doors, locks, furnishings, and equipment in hotel rooms, gym, kitchen, restaurant, conference, pool, and sauna/relax. Measures for optimizing the building's climate system, heating, and ventilation, as well as consumption readings, are done in collaboration with the property manager.

Furthermore, the role includes working with the hotel's fire and safety, property management, and maintenance, both preventive and emergency, together with the property manager. Sustainability is an important guiding principle, and you will actively work to incorporate it into our working methods. The operation involves some regulatory requirements, and you will be involved in many of these. Structure, accuracy, drive, and flexibility are important qualities; you have an eye for detail and enjoy being around people and working in a changing environment.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with broad experience in property management. Knowledge of fire safety is required for the position. We will train you to become a facility manager for fire alarms & sprinklers. Additionally, you should be computer literate and have good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Information about the position:

The position is a permanent full-time employment. We apply a probationary period. Your immediate supervisor will be our hotel manager, who is also the property manager.

The job mainly involves daytime work Mon-Fri, but there may be occasional evening or weekend shifts. Desired start date from April 1st, but this can be discussed.
