Your Role

Kiruna Gruva Bergtransport is looking for a mechanic for fixed installations underground. As a mechanic for fixed installations, your main tasks will be to work with preventive and ongoing maintenance as well as improvement work in our fixed installations underground, such as stone crushers, chutes, and track levels.

Your daily work will include renovations of crushing plants as well as rail replacements and component changes on both chutes and track levels. There is also ongoing safety work that you are expected to actively participate in.

What You Bring

To thrive in this role, you are confident and enjoy taking responsibility. You are eager to learn and have an interest in mechanics and maintenance. The work involves a variety of tasks where collaboration with others is important to carry out the tasks well and accurately.

• High school education, preferably with a focus on industry/mechanics/vehicles or similar.
• Driver's license B is a requirement
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in industrial work is an advantage
• Experience as a mechanic is an advantage
