About the Agreement

We have signed an agreement with Kaunis Iron regarding mining services at the Tapuli open pit. The agreement came into effect on January 1, 2026. This is primarily where your work tasks will be performed for the service and repair of our machinery fleet, which includes wheel loaders and excavators.

Job Responsibilities

As a mechanic on this project, you play a key role in helping us deliver our best every day. Together with your fellow mechanics, you will work to maintain the highest possible availability of the machinery fleet. You will perform scheduled maintenance and respond to daily troubleshooting and breakdowns.

It is essential that you are meticulous and ensure that there is order and cleanliness at the workplace.

You also need to have good physical fitness to handle work that can sometimes be physically demanding.

Qualifications

• You should have completed a vehicle technology education, industrial maintenance training, or similar experience from previous jobs.
• You should have experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Hold a B driver's license.

• Master Swedish in speech and writing.
• Be able to communicate in English in writing.
• Ability to understand electrical and hydraulic schematics is an advantage.

Working Hours and Salary

• Working hours: Work 7 days, off 7 days. Daytime 6:00 AM - 4:42 PM.
• Salary: According to the collective agreement with IF Metall Mining Contract Agreement. Individual salary setting applies.
• Employment conditions: Permanent employment with an initial six-month probationary period.
• Start date according to agreement.
