Your role

As a mechanic at Svappavaara processing, you will work in our beneficiation plant and pelletizing plant. You will be part of our whole and contribute to the smooth operation of our high-tech mining and mineral group. This requires you to work in an organized manner with a strong focus on safety. You will develop products, design, and deliver everything from service and maintenance to small components and large steel structures. You are curious and driven to learn more. We believe in you and your capacity and give you both trust and freedom to develop and grow.

Your daily life as a mechanic:

• Resolve arising problems and plan future maintenance efforts
• Mechanical maintenance tasks such as repairs
• Preventive and ongoing maintenance
• Condition checks, inspections, and improvement work
• Close collaboration with all production staff
• Perform work according to LKAB's work routines, instructions, and guidelines for safe and efficient execution.

What you bring with you

• High school education in industry/maintenance/vehicles, or equivalent experience
• Driving license B
• You must master the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Experience in welding, plumbing, hydraulics, or pneumatics is an advantage, as well as experience working at LKAB or similar operations.
