Experienced Concrete Construction Manager Wanted

We are now looking for an experienced construction manager with a focus on concrete for a large and technically complex infrastructure project in the Stockholm area. This role is suitable for you who have strong leadership skills, work in a structured manner, and have the ability to drive concrete and construction work forward in close collaboration with contractors and clients.

About the Position

As a Concrete Construction Manager, you will be a central part of the project organization responsible for monitoring and managing concrete work during the project's implementation phase. You thrive in an operational role close to production and are solution-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and progress.

Your responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and leading the contractor's concrete and construction work
• Ensuring that the work is carried out according to contracts, technical documents, schedules, and quality standards
• Participating in production technical and technical reviews related to concrete structures
• Interpreting and applying contract documents, construction drawings, AMA Construction, and AB04/ABT06
• Ensuring that concrete work is performed according to applicable norms, standards, and quality requirements
• Identifying and managing deviations, changes, and technical modifications
• Working with documentation, monitoring, schedules, and financial data
• Collaborating closely with other construction managers, especially in earthworks and construction

The role requires a good technical understanding of concrete structures and experience working on larger infrastructure projects.

• Client: State Infrastructure Authority
• Location: Huddinge
• Project Scope: approx. 1.3 billion SEK
• Construction Time: approx. 4 years
• Project Start: approximately 6 months
• Contract Form: Total Contract (with ongoing dialogue about execution contract with elements of total contract)

The project includes:

• Two interchanges with bridges over existing railway
• Ramps for access and exit
• Complex rock excavation in close proximity to the railway
• Approximately 200,000 m³ of rock excavation
• Sheet piling, piling, and extensive earth and foundation work

Who Are You?

For the role of Concrete Construction Manager, we see that you have:

• At least 3 years of experience as a construction manager in infrastructure
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience as a site manager or production manager responsible for infrastructure projects over 30 million SEK, focusing on concrete structures
• Concrete class 1 training (requirement)
• Documented BAS-P/U training
• Good knowledge of construction law and regulations such as AMA Construction, AB04, and ABT06
• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
