At the Community Building Office, about 200 people work to make Sigtuna Municipality an attractive, vibrant, and safe place to live and work. We plan new residential and business areas. We design and build roads and pipelines for water and sewage. We take care of parks and forests as well as schoolyards, preschool yards, and playgrounds. We work with traffic issues, parking supervision, waste management, and much more. We handle regulatory activities and exercise supervision and control as well as issue permits within our areas. We invest in our employees through good resources for professional development as well as joint activities. Sigtuna Municipality is an expanding municipality with extensive housing construction, many business establishments, and investments in public spaces.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of the team working on various land and construction projects within our park, playground, and street operations in Märsta, Sigtuna, and Rosersberg. With us, you will have the opportunity to try many different types of work within land development.

Some readiness for snow removal is required. Working hours are 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Thursday and 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Fridays.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in land and construction work.
• You should have a B driver's license, and it is an advantage if you have a C driver's license as well as experience operating machinery such as wheel loaders and forklifts. Please indicate which machines you are experienced or qualified to operate in your application.
• It is an advantage if you have a vocational certificate in land and construction work and a diploma in pipe laying.
