We are looking for a Construction Manager for underwater pipeline in Nacka Värmdö for a municipality in Stockholm.

This is a consulting assignment.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The consultant will support the construction management of underwater pipelines over a distance of approximately 5.5 km. The role includes participation in design meetings, construction technical advice, preparation of tender documents, and follow-up during the construction phase through site visits, construction meetings, and minute-taking. If necessary, the consultant will participate in information meetings with affected property owners, businesses, and residents.

Responsibilities

Participate in design meetings every other week

Assist with construction technical advice

Help prepare tender documents for upcoming contracts

Ensure that documents are followed during the construction phase

Conduct site visits

Lead construction meetings and take minutes

If necessary, participate in information meetings with property owners, businesses, and residents

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

At least 15 years of professional experience in construction, water and sewage, of which at least 10 years as a construction manager.

Completed training as a “supervisor of PE pipes and plastic welding” with a valid certificate.

Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

At least one completed reference project in underwater pipeline contracting in the last 5 years.

The consultant must have and apply a systematic and documented quality management system that complies with SS-EN ISO9001:2015 or equivalent. The quality management system must at least include:

· Procedures for self-monitoring

· Documented quality assurance procedures

· Quality policy for the business

· Procedures for internal audits

· Procedures for preventive actions, deviation management, and continuous improvements

· Name of the quality responsible person
