We are looking for a Consultant in Project Planning, Construction Management, and Inventory for Trafikverket.

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location should be within Norrbotten County, and will be determined in consultation with the client based on where you reside.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The consultant is responsible for construction management, project planning, inventory, and monitoring the delivery quality of maintenance pavement within Norrbotten County. The role involves collaboration with contractors and project teams, ensuring that work is carried out according to applicable requirements, quality goals, schedules, and workplace regulations, as well as assisting the project manager with documentation for decisions, follow-up, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Conduct inventory, condition assessment, project planning, and construction management.

Environmental sampling prior to ditch work and material sampling of the pavement layers.

Control of Traffic Arrangement Plans (APU) throughout the paving season.

Participate in kick-off meetings, field inspections, final checks, and inspections.

Preparation of complete tender documents (FFU) including technical descriptions, quantity lists, and action lists.

Follow up the contractor's documentation in the Project Portal and Workspace.

Prepare and distribute minutes from meetings and inspections.

Act as the contact person for the contractor and document additional orders.

Keep a diary of your own work and follow up on the contractor's diary at least once a week.

Inform the project manager about the project's technical and time progress.

Assist the project manager with measurement protocols and documentation for changes and additional work.

Actively work with quality, workplace safety, and security, including random inspections.

Provide documentation and advice for potential disputes, final checks, and inspections.

Conduct condition assessments in PMSv4 and analyze needs for paving plans.

Independently inventory, propose measures, dimension the pavement, and prepare documentation for quantities, calculations, and sectioning.

Plan and coordinate with geotechnical investigations and water activity notifications.

Prepare documentation for risk assessments and workplace safety plans.

Requirements (Mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Hold a valid B driver's license.

Good knowledge of AMA (current version).

Good knowledge of AB 04, ABT 06.

Good knowledge of construction law.

Experience working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Completed training to function as the Client's Construction Safety Coordinator, Bas-P.

Relevant education and at least 5 years of work experience in inventory, project planning, and construction management of drainage, maintenance pavements, and load-bearing measures. The work experience should not be older than 10 years.

Good knowledge of budgeting and financial work within paving, drainage, and reinforcement projects.

Knowledge of the regulations VGU – Design of Roads and Streets, latest version.
